Called me on Monday left a message, and called again today left no message. Lady identified herself as Diane Post with the Premier Elite Group, and that they were "mediating" a matter. Said my hometowns name, and said my name, and claimed to have social security number...yet still sounded very phoney. Looked up Premier Elite Group in Atlantic City, NJ no such thing and no such mediation firm anywhere. Looked Premier Elite, and Diane Post up here on 800notes and found they have been running this scam for a while using different numbers, and even dared to use a shill here on 800notes to try to legitimize their scheme. I'm reporting this number so others out there no these folks are up to no good, and to relieve you of any stomach aches you might get believing this is a real thing. This is a SCAM, albeit a better then average one, but a scam non the less.

Did you call her back???  I did and had my attorney do the same.  This was no scam and actually mediated my case so I didn't have a judgment against me.  I actually found this googling the number to find her email to thank her.  Sad how negative comments are made without even calling back to find out she probably had an important matter of yours.

Hi "DEBBIE"

Were you promised a free turkey for writing this garbage?  So, a voice on the phone demands payment, and instead of them sending you a debt validation letter via USPS, you have your "attorney" call them, right?  Your "attorney" then, "mediated my case,' right?  all, without having a debt validation letter sent, right?  I highly doubt, that you are able to afford an attorney.  You are just a pathetic shill for this criminal enterprise.  What is preventing you from getting a legitimate job, lack of education, prior criminal convictions, the inability to pass a drug test, or all of the aforementioned?

Just in case some reader has had an insufficient amount of coffee this morning ... and just in case they do not believe Yoda1725's post, allow me to present evidence that YOUR post is untrue (and you may be nothing more than a shill).

Lurkers:

A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed - US Mail ... not emailed or texted]

Source:
https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via Green Dot, MoneyGram, Western Union, prepaid gift card or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.

IF you wish to communicate with the supposed collector / creditor, visit  the following page, for example "Action Letters" to snailmail:
http://www.consumerfinance.gov/blog/debtcollection/

If you KNOW you owe no money, or believe the call was from a fake debt collector, please take the time to read this:
