They called again today. She was looking for "the person in charge of the electric bill" and wanted to discuss something at the bottom of our bill. We asked, "like what?" Then she asked, "is this the person in charge of the electric bill?" We hung up.
Electricity reseller/telemarketer. 4 calls in 30 minutes today. Getting me really PO'ed. Yet leaves no messages first 3 times(a good thing). I answered the 4 =th call: the rep wants to know my electric bill account number. Can save me money..LOL. Company is actually in Connecticut. Their website has a calculator for determining savings. (Wow, I can save a whole $6.00 a month by going with an out of state, unregulated, reseller.) NO THANKS !!!
Very annoying. Positioned themselves as a partner with my utility Co. (PSEG in NJ). I asked them point blank if there were part of PSE&G. They said no but they were working with PSEG. She also mentioned the fact that their lower costs were featured on the PSE&B website and my previous bills.
Absolutely false. I told them that I wanted to do my homework and they could call me back. I'll be interested to see if they do call me back.
