The number called around 6:30 talking about pain level I was experiencing, I asked who she wanted to speak too, she didn't provide a name, I asked again, she said why did I need to know, that did not set well with me at all, I gave her a few choice words in which she reply let's keep this professional that is when the gloves came off and I layed into her before I hung up on her. People like this should get a real job.

Same # called here too. Didn't get to answer it though, ........ Oh Darn! What ever will I do?! (LOL) Another # for our 'puters $hit Li$t of Telescum Scammers and politicians. No difference really. Both are liars and thieves.

Most of the calls we get come from Telemarketing (TM) Call Centers with MANY phones and Many people to call on them. They employ automated dialers (robo callers) and with MANY 'outgoing only' phone lines, and they call out in blocks of numbers. Each line gets multiple outgoing #'s at once and when some poor sucker picks up their phone it causes the others to drop out. That's why we get so many hang-up and dead calls. Someone else got there 1st. Good For Them! Now I don't have to deal with their call. By the 4th ring the robot terminates the call because most answering machines pick-up about then, and They can't sell anything to an answering machine, it won't give them a red cent for a donation, and it doesn't give a $hit about politicians. Sounds like many of us, huh.
What's the best WE can do? Do NOT answer it, or if you can stand the 4 rings, just pick-up and hang-up the phone to stop the ringing. Do NOT do ANYTHING else. Their machines never get the chance to do anything if you do NOT say HELLO to get them started. All they get is that yours is an active phone #, and that's bad enough. Afterwards come here and look the # up and find out just who it is that you will be blocking, IF you care at all.
We have our 'puter handling all our incoming calls. Each one gets logged with the time and date, the CID Name, and the CID Number. If we find out here that it is from a TM Call Ctr, or other scammers (like this one is), they get "handled" by our 'puter and WE don't need to answer it, ..... ever again! I even come here sometimes just to add more # to our list, just to keep ahead of some of the scammer calls. WE are hunting THEM now!

A call from 1-609-318-6262 went to voice mail and they hung up without saying anything. I called the number back and only was connected to their voice menu system. After doing that a few times (to waste their phone time) I pushed #1 to connect to a "customer service rep" but only got a "leave a message" prompt (same as one of the other menu options). I finally went to voice menu # 4 to "report a complaint" and only got a phone numbers for the Federal Trade Commission 1-888-382-1222 and the Federal Communication Commission 1-888-225-5322. (i did not verify if the numbers are correct). As I am on the Federal and State Do Not Call lists, I doubt this calling company really gives a rats [***] about the rules.
Note within 5 minutes of my doing this I received another marketing call from 1-312-209-7122 (id) Consumer Svcs.
