Just called the number back and the company is WCA Subscription Services.
The recording I got gave me my number and said I was subscribed on 6/30/11 (of course, that's bs). In addition, I was informed that I would now be entered into their daily drawing for a cash prize.
I followed the prompts and had to listen to a 30-second sales pitch as to why I shouldn't cancel before selecting "2" for DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!
This number calls on my cell phone. I don't have any idea what they want but I do know that I don't want telemarketers to call me either on my cell or landline. If I want to purchase something or donate to a worthy cause ~ I'll do the calling.
just got a call from this same number. no msg. I live in Washington state.Looks like they are calling nation wide.I also never answer my cell phone if I do not recognise the number.It is bad enough that they call our landline.Now our cell phones? How can this be stopped?
