Caller ID said Trenton, NJ. Started out saying I have important information about your Electric Rates & how you can receive a substantial rate reduction.......yada, yada, yadda..... Blocking! Robocall.
Congratulations you have recently aoplied for a payday loan!!! The hell I have. Yet another number blocked. Ridiculous as to how many scam calls I get on my cell each week. The block list is getting longer than my contacts list.
I did not answer this call when it came to my mobile phone today at 03/17/2016, 13:36 central time, but then received an illegal 'Robocall' voice message. I have received this message many times already.
This time, I am reporting the message here - word-for-word - except for the 'approval code' they gave me.
"Hello, and congratulations! You have recently applied for a Payday Loan. Our vendors have lowered the requirements and you are now eligible for a cash loan of up to $1,000. To collect your funds, go to our platinum members approved site at www.GoCashWire.com, and use your approval code of <blah, blah, blah, blah>. Again, that's GoCashWire.com, approval code <blah, blah, blah, blah>. This pre-approval code expires in 24 hours if you don't claim your funds. Congratulations again from GoCashWire.com!"
Why are these spammers smarter than the government? I don't do anything and I get spammed! I pay taxes to the government and get nothing! How many years will it take for the government to get smart enough to deal with this crap!
