Dont owe any money & dont have direct TV, have Dish network when I recieved the call on my cell phone there was a recording saying it was for a dept I owed but no one was there. Tried to call the # back but line fast busy.
They called and ask for me by first and last name I said this is her. then they said my address and asked if I was the said name and live at that address. I said that I was the person that they named. But they wanted me to answer, Yes I am the said name and i live at that address and then they the last 4 digits of a social and wanted me to say yes I am the said name I live at the said address and that is the last 4 digits of my social..I ask who they were, why were calling but, they would not answer said they could not tell me who they were until i verify they info with a yes response to all I verified my name but that wasn't good enough. so they never told me who they were and got upset because i would not answer there questions....but does not stop calling...calls twicw a day.
I received a phone call from this number today. It is a collection agency for direct tv and other companies. Same as posted above they would not give me the info as to what CBE is and kept saying it was a personal matter with my husband and hung up on me. So I called back and said to them if you dont tell me the matter or the name of the company you will never get what or who you are looking for. So we now know who the CBE is.
a collections agency. They are trying to get money from me even after we cancelled and sent back our so called boxes and they were still charging us for service that was not even used.
I have rec'd calls from them on a daily basis asking me to press 1 if I am ......, and press 2 if I am not that person. Since I am not that person, I press 2 and am placed on hold and THEY STILL CALL. Hello, I have pressed 2 everytime, shouldn't they eventually update their list.
