I don't bother with calls from strange area codes. If it's important, they will leave a message. The problem is, the Do Nor Call List is a farce. The government cannot keep up nor do they care all that much. Do they read this site's entries? Very much doubt it - more for us knowing who the culprits are.
LOL, I no longer OWN any credit cards so, yeah, just a stinkin robocall.
Just had a call from this number. Probably a scam as I don't even own any credit cards.
Furthermore, they would have to dig in my credit files, WITHOUT my permission to see that I had one in my name from years, and years, and years ago. It was a Chase bank credit card that was part of the "Checking Account Overdraft Protection" scam that Chase bank pulled on people. Let's just say this... Once dumb, twice stupid. I'm not falling for that [***] again.
One more thing as a completely unrelated side note, if you have a Chase Bank account of any kind, please RUN! Get out! And don't look back! It's just a matter of time before they screw you over and ruin your credit, and your life, like they did me.
