I told them to go screw themselves and they called me nasty names and said they were gonna "[***]" my sister, who's dead, "[***]" my mother, who's dead, and cut off my balls. That was the most phunn I've had with someone that was phishing for information in a long time. The more I laughed, the more mad and the more they threatened me....... I'm gonna call them anytime just for phunn..... Let 'em have it folks, it's a freaking blast!!!!!!!!!
Calling regarding an "enforcement action" by the U.S. Treasury and if I don't call back then I may have to go before a "magistrate" or judge. English or African accent from man calling himself James Kasten . second call re: this from different # this time. Referred to justice dept link.
Left message (was a recording), that started halfway in the message. Enforcement, IRS owed money....message stated that "ignoring this phone call will result in your immedate arrest". SCAM!! Did not attempt to call this number back, blocked it from my phone. IRS does not contact people by phone in regards to debts owed. Heavy accent.
Received a call from this number at 3:11PM PST.
Same voicemail message as people above mentioned, except mine the message kept cutting in and out like there is bad reception.
Aint falling for this scam, so yet another number added to my ever growing block number list *sigh*
