The same thing just happened to me. When I called back I was put through to a women who begin to rant and rave very loudly. She began to ask me how I was able to pay my cell phone bill and other pesonal and financial questions. Once she was done ranting, and telling me how I refused to cooperate, I was put through to Allen Wolf - Who then began to ask me how I was going to pay the $5000.00 I apparently owe since 2000. I told him that I did not have any money and no I could not borrow it from my family.

"A%^hole" calls me tonight while I am driving on the highway in the rain. Good sense told me to ignore the call, but I didn't and since I was on the road in the rain, I just answered, didn't check the caller id. In the background, before I said hello, this buttsniffer was singing or rapping or playing with himself, I'm not sure. Real professional! So, he proceeds to ask for me, I tell him this is and immediately am suspicious when he rattles off the last four digits of my ssn. He then tells me he works for this Hecker dude and asks if I can write some things down. I tell him no, I'm driving, in the rain, and this jackhole says to me "Well, can't you pull over?" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? At this point, I should have hung up I know, but I have to admit I was curious. I've got no bad debt, just the usual monthly bills and payments that I'm current on. Anyway, he stops talking and I ask if he can tell me what this call is about. HE REEFUSES. Says that I need to wait a minute while he documents my refusal to take down the attorney information! ROFL! Throughly enjoying myself now, I ask him can't he type and talk at the same time! This really pissed him off! The whole lecture about not being cooperative began, and I had to remind him that he called me and was refusing to tell me the nature of the call. This is the best part: "Ma'm, you answered the phone with the intent of having a conversation." Yes I did crap-for-brains, I didn't answer with the intent of writing anything down, or for a game of 'who's the biggest [***] on the planet!' He then threatens to find an attorney in my state to refer the case to, and finally hangs up on me when I simply ask 'Can I google this attorney and get his contact info that way?' I see now why that may have pissed him off.
A message for Hecker legal assistants no doubt trolling this site: do not call me again. I owe no debt to you. One more call, and like many other people on this blog, I'[m filing a complaint for harassment.

Chris someone has called my mother and has left messages on her machine. She erased them unfortunately.
Alan Wolff ( spelling ) and then Jerry Gold (spelling) was the last person I spoke with. Gold would not provide Hecker's bar # and he could not tell me whether or not they were licensed to practice or collect in my state. I have contacted Bar Assn. of my state and of NJ to see if they are legit. they state they are an attorneys office but are extremely unprofessional- having said that I put collection agency below.
