I have received 3 calls from this number, so far, today. My phone app bounced the caller directly to voicemail without ringing the phone... but they did not bother to leave any message. If this is a legitimate recruiter for contract employment, they are exceptionally unprofessional and certainly not to be trusted.
Of course, I've discovered that virtually every such call from New Jersey falls into the 'untrusted' category, since I do not know ANYONE in NJ, or on the East Coast for that matter. But if you are contacting me for a local contract position in Arizona and you are on the East Coast, I'm not going to be talking to you in the first place. I will apply for the position through a local staffing agency.
I have NO idea who called me, or what company he was working for as I couldn't understand him. "Hi this is [insert garbled mess of words I couldn't understand]." I asked him to repeat himself, and he did, which helped nothing at all. Then the call either dropped or he hung up. Either way, waste of time. If you are trying to recruit people, at least make sure the people doing the recruiting are understandable.
Got a call, and I let it go to voicemail. Listening to the VM, it appeared that the person forgot to hang-up and I heard about 90 seconds of background noise.
