I have recieved 2 calls now from this number both times and the person had asked for "Cynthia" which is my mother. The first time, I explained that I wasn't sure how they associated my phone number with my mom and he ignored the question and told me to Vote for someone and hung up. The second time I explained again, that I am not Cynthia, and that it is the wrong number, and before I could even explain they hung up. It is very rude, and my mom has no idea why they would have my number under her name.
Got a call in the afternoon, no area code on caller ID, which was "BURLINGTON COUNTY." Lady with no background noise; asked me if I supported a political candidate over another in the coming Republican primary. I did not support her candidate and she engaged in "attack ad" talking points. I did not agree and countered with news reports, polls, etc. and she became increasingly argumentative and irate, and ended up shouting over the phone, eventually hanging up on me.
I have nothing against polling and nothing against short, polite calls at reasonable hours but I'm blocking this number. I have strong doubts that this is actually the Republican county organization.
