Robotic woman's voice informing me that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to contact them at this number immediately.  Yea. Right. I did do a trace on the number for giggles. It is a cellular phone number with Cape May Court House, NJ as the point of origin. Folks, there is a lot of this scam going on. Be advised that the IRS does not operate this way. Initial contact is via US snail mail. Unless you are Al Capone, the IRS has no interest in filing a lawsuit.  They would just rather that you pay them if they think you owe them. Court is expensive and time consuming for them too.  Also, any letter will come from the IRS office most local to where you live. I live on the west coast. I'm not going to be contacted by the IRS from a tourist destination on the east coast. I have taken the time to share this with you so that you can share this with the financially challenged people in your life like elderly parents or legal immigrants who don't know better and don't want to get in trouble with the all powerful and intimidating IRS.  (BTW, Illegal aliens will just blow off the call just like they blow off USA immigration laws even if they think the call is legitimate. And if you think the IRS is scary for tax taxpaying Americans now, wait and see what happens if Crooked Hillary is elected....GO TRUMP!)
