Yep, said they were from Special Olympics. I never answer Unknowns, but my loving hubby does - ugh! At 8:26 PM, on a Sunday night, you would think they'd have something better to do. They send out so much paper hype, now they are calling. If we were to contribute, it would be of our own volition, not with their dunning calls or mailings.
It's a group called Medallion, calling (in my case) on behalf of Special Olympics. Dustin loved giving his spiel. I asked him what company he was with; he said Medallion. I asked him to remove my number from their call lists, and he said he had to get manager approval. I actually laughed out loud. They don't ask anyone's permission to call me at 9 PM, but they need special permission to get my name off the lists... A woman manager (I guess) got on to confirm I wanted off the lists and said she'd process it. We shall see.
