It's ironic that everyone claims this number is the fraternal order of police, given that they called me the same day everyone thought I'd kidnapped my ex gf (feb 9, 2014), and I live 100 miles from Glenolden and her. She lives near Glenolden.
The odd Caller ID name tag (or "CNAM") could be a default entry from whatever VOIP carrier the call center is using, which is to say someone was too lazy to populate that field with a useful entry.
Got a call from this # and it shown Glenolden, Pa. They called on 2/9/14 @ 7:07 PM and I am sure hoping that someone would be home in the evening on a Sunday. I let the machine answer it and knew they would not leave a message. You gotta love caller ID. I don't know anyone at that # and it must not been important enough to leave a message. I didn't expect there would be a message left and I was right. Good luck thinking I will answer.
Bullcrap!!! You can tell them you are recording the conversation all day long and it doesn't scare them off at all--not one bit---not even if they are threatening to have you arrested (which bill collectors cannot do) or anything else. Mainly because 90% or more of them are untraceable numbers and they use phony names. If anything, they will call you that much more often just to show you they know nothing will come of it.
I had a record of 86 times within less than 3 weeks that a bill collector MISTAKENLY called my number and was told the person they were looking for was not here, that it USED to be their number a few years ago but when I moved the number was assigned to me and I didn't even know the person they were looking for---I just happened to have been assigned their old phone number. Filed a complaint with the attorney general, the phone company and the FCC and 2 years later they are still calling me.
