I get these calls daily, some back to back.... we just stopped answering the phone. If they don't want to have a human call us then we don't need to talk to them. Oh well, I guess if they wanted business that bad they would have "someone" not "something" call us!

This is a collection agency.  Ignore the calls but don't ignore the problem that is the root of these calls, i.e. undisciplined consumer debt and/or a lack of sufficient income to carry your debt and provide for expenses and savings.  Meanwhile, don't answer the calls and delete their stubborn messages.  For them, it's a "numbers game" and they hope to get you on the line and intimidate you into settling for less than owed for the commission they will receive.  (Yes, it's about the money ... as usual.)  The only things you have to take action over are notices delivered via Registered Mail with Return Receipt (or a process server) that announce a lawsuit has been filed against you or the federal or state government has taken action against you (i.e. foreclosure; legal action to collect a sizable debt; an IRS tax lien on your property or levy on your income, etc.).  For example, if you receive a notice in either way for, say, a preliminary hearing before a court in your jurisdiction that, if you ignore the notice, you could lose by default and they, the evil SOB's themselves, could enforce a judgment, which is real trouble (unless you're "judgment-proof" as in no assets whatsoever, in which case why are you even in a great place like America with all its financial potential?) ...  Everything else is b.s., pure and simple.  The collections "business" is borderline loan-shark enforcement.  They're quasi-criminals in my view and if you ignore them and learn to live with occasional ignored calls, you'll be fine.  Just pay attention to the underlying problem that results, after a long while, in such calls.  Re these calls and other debt-harassment issues, eventually you have to learn what we did the hard way ... no credit cards, no lines-of-credit, no debt, period.  Use a Visa debit card tied to a simple positive bank balance or PayPal account (see paypal.com).  Or use a Simon Mall (or other) paid as you go Visa or MasterCard giftcard that acts as a Visa/MC debit card.  If you own your home, pay it off and don't be late with payments; if you can't keep up, sell it yourself first and with a real estate agent next.  If you're in foreclosure, get a forbearance agreement with the bank and stick to it or, if they refuse (as they often do), screw 'em and file Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and a court trustee will ensure you can afford to keep your house for up to three years or until you sell it (in most cases; see a lawyer as I'm not one of those slick sharks myself).  If you can't handle money (crack habit, mistresses, gambling, drugs, etc.), sell your house, save whatever equity you can, and live low, humble and eager to learn to change your life with faith in God.  Read Susie Ormond.  Get self-disciplined.  Take control of your life and finances.  We did; you can, too.  We had a Experian FICO score of 780 (and a Beacon rating that was even higher), no debt and a beautiful house with a 30-year fixed no-points low 5% mortgage until a $30,000 lawsuit, filed in district court here -- based on a $15,000 identity theft crime in December 2002 when a Citibank-owned Universal Card with a high credit line was CCR-number swiped at a Cuban restaurant in Miami -- grew into that sized lawsuit, and the only way to defend against it was for my wife (in whose name the credit card was issued) was to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy (in which a court trustee discharges all non-collateralized debt).  The Chapter 7 filing really pissed off our two evil mortgage banks (the first and a second equity line note) and, after unbelievable nastiness and non-cooperation with us, both moved against us in bankruptcy when we were only a few weeks (but less than a month) late for one payment and two months late with the other ... the evil banks are SunTrust and GMAC Mortgage ... and we've spent nearly $6,000 battling the lawsuit and foreclosures.  Who needs this [***]?  America has become a truly dangerous place for any hard-working member of the middle class.  Even Ormond on last night's Larry King said it's true, "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" and that the middle class is being eaten alive in this country.  Another evil bank is Citibank (in particular, CitiCards -- now part of a scary, autocratic multinational (no longer just American) entity known simply as "Citi" (formerly CitiGroup) -- who ignored our affidavit, letters and even a letter to their general counsel from a lawyer we had to hire, to no avail) ...  The only advice is, for God's sake, follow the advice I already gave you ... eliminate your debt load, save save save, and get a home in Latin America as a back-up because every Presidential candidate in either party is pretty much unqualified to lead this country back to greatness.  Why is America is so much trouble?  Aside from the fact that our youth is mostly on drugs and listening to Hip-Hop music all day ... because we (not me but generally most Americans) are afraid of any risk at all in life, of "liability", of responsibility for the mere possibility of a negative consequence to a positive action.  Be an individual!  Read Ayn Rand.  Get tough!  Don't rely on our "leaders" ... this isn't 1953 or even 1968!  It's 2007 and they've turned their backs on us all.  Say it with me:  "No more debt!"  Save.  Keep to yourself and don't tell people you're rich.  Don't buy fancy BMW's and Jags as we once did.  Don't lend money to friends or family ... as they say in South America, "Lend money to a friend and lose the money or lose the friendship."  (I say you'll lose both!)  Be strong and get out from under as much debt as you can.  Soaring house values are no longer "guaranteed" because they never were.  No more frivolous spending, friends.  One day you'll remember this post and take me.  Best wishes for your new disciplined, "I'm-in-control here" life ...  ANd last but not least, pray.  Not one man or woman alive had anything to do with the design and execution of the physical universe nor will they ever come close to understanding its origins and destiny.  Be strong and live in control of your life!

Oxford Management calling on Sunday from 1-610-230-7201.  A recorded message plays and I try to hang up on them, but they seem to hold up my telephone line.  I can't seem to hang up on them.  I think this company is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional.  I already told them the person they are calling about doesn't live at this phone they are calling.  They still call my home number.

Calls come in all the time.  Always a recording saying please call us.  It dgoes on to say that it is a non-soliciating phone call and invovles a really important bussiness matter.  I have never called them back, but sometimes there are as many as five messages a day.

This stupid Oxford Management Services KEEPS ON CALLING.  I just sat down a while ago and looked at my caller ID list since last week and reported each and every time this same number called me.  Just reported them again because they called a few minutes ago.  Sometimes they call three times a day.  I'm getting sick of this.
