they just try to get money from me.....by calling me & my Work no........
they are......[***].....they don't know proper English,........they are not american..........
so dont pay anything to them....
and no need to worry about this.........they have your personal information but they cant use or cant do anything with that........
Harassment call stating I owe money on a loan. I do not owe anyone and if I don't pay; legal steps will be taken....They call me at work and call my relatives.. The need to stop these scam people.
I have contacted the local police. Got my attorney involved.
This is a version of the you-have-committed-a-crime extortion scam and you are being...
1. charged with fraud or passing bad checks or embezzlement or
2. served with a court summons or arrest warrant or bench warrant or whatever or
3. located in preparation to being served or for a lawsuit or to be arrested or
4. sued for cable TV usage that you've been stealing for years or
5. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.
And you have to...
1. call back with your case number or
2. confirm your address or SSN or whatever so you can be served or your papers can be processed or
3. pay $895 now to avoid paying $5,000 in court or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.
Beware extortion scams come in many flavors and they constantly evolve to stay one step ahead of the law.

I was getting the same type of calls from a number in New York 347-753-8210 - telling me I owed money on a payday loan - a woman with a thick indian accent with the name Gloria Jones - odd such a normal American name for a person with a thick accent. There was lots of background noise. They told me that if I did not contact them they would send someone to my workplace the next day - that was 2 weeks ago. No one ever showed up. They called again - I ignored them - the last time they called they did not leave any messages. Now today I get a call from this new number 282-726-2524 from a man with a thick indian accent telling me I need to call 610-332-8713 about a legal action using the case number that they gave me. Told me if I did not call them back I would be in "a legal mess". These people never give you the name of the company they work for, who it is that is bringing the legal action but they want money - What a scam - oh well at least he told me to have a good day!
I have been getting these same calls form almost two years now. Always some one with a thick accent with such a normal name. I humor them by answering the phone and telling them if I owe some thing, by law you are required to send me some thing in writing. They act like they don't hear or understand you because then they will say I am calling for and don't hang up. I laugh everytime I get a call. I have even told a few of them, before they start trying to scam people out of money, find some one to teach them clear English! They leave me voice mail messages on my phone all the time, and each time they call it is from a different number, sometimes abnormal looking numbers like some one would place across seas. It is a total scam so I hope and pray no one falls for it. It is a shame that they have to scam working class citizens out their money.
I have received these calls all day long to my work as well. THey are trying to scare me I had pay day loan but I paid off, they are harrassing my work, my cell,friends and family, HOW DO WE STOP THIS HARRASSMENT.
