There is a good chance this is a collection for a credit card Company such as Aspire, premier, salute, Total Card, or Centenial.
Here is a hint: If you donot talk to these people for 6 years the debt is wiped out, but it is still on your credit report 1 more year. If in that time you speak to a credit collection agent it starts all over agian.
So you have a choice, go through a Credit card repayment consolidator (it won;t hurt your credit any more than it is hurt now. and let them talk to the collection people, most of the time they can negotiate or lower the debt you owe and you can make payments to the consolidator and ge the debt off your record.
Or you can avoid everyone all together and hope the call stop.
these people have been calling me for the past 2 - 3 years looking for a ricardo walker saying he has debt. I have talked to a number of people and explained that I am not him and they are nice saying it was a mistake and they will fix it then the call subside for 1-2 months and then come back daily in full force is there any action i can take to prevent this? contact the BBB, my local police station, etc? also I am thinking of calling them back and threatening them with going to the police or BBB because this is ourtagious. if anyone has any ideas let me know!
