They have called here every day this week starting about 6:00 PM Pacific time. It does indeed sound like a fax machine. I've tried calling back and usually get ringing, but no answer. I just want to make it stop!
It is a fax machine where someone has put in the incorrect number to call. Progressive told me that it will try a total of 15 times and if there are no answers, it will stop calling. They also said that it should not continue to happen after the first 15 attemps. I told them, I have to answer the phone, just to stop the ringing in the middle of the night. I hope they figure it out today! Not sure if it will help but their customer service number is 800-776-4737. The ringing in the middle of the night needs to stop, my entire house is in need of some serious hours of uninterrupted sleep!
