Called my husband at his work. Threatened to send a copy of a warrant to my husband's boss if he did not pay $418.00 today. He screwed though because I work at a Police Department and knew this was bull***t. I called him back so he could see my police dept's name on his caller ID and told him not to ever call my husband threatening him again. After I told him I was turning his number over to the Arkansas State Atty General's office, he hung up on me. I recorded this call and he admits calling my husband during this call. If there is anyway I can prosecute this guy for harassing communications I certainly will!
Also, this guy will not give you his business name, what payday Loan lender he is calling for, or any information about the debt you supposedly owe. (because he doesn't have any info) He is working strictly off of your fear. Don't fall for it. No legitimate debt collector is going to fax your boss a copy of any warrants. Also he may mention your bank account and know who your account is with, but he obviously doesn't have the authority to perform an ACH debit from your account or he would just do that.Just DO NOT react out of fear, people.
Contact the Attorney General office and The Federal Trade Commission. I already have. They filed a report with both. My Attorney General has already contacted me stating they have contacted CSI. Csi would not give them there address. But the phone calls have stopped. I recommend everyone do that. The Federal Trade Commission even had me put a fraud alert on my credit.
