Yeah, woo-hoo. You realize FNCB controls more than one phone number, right? It could set up a cheap new VOIP number just for you. It's more efficient to choke off the calls at their source, one of many provisions of the FDCPA you can use.
This Call is coming from a company called:
FIRST NATIONAL COLLECTION BUREAU a/k/a FNCB Inc.
610 Waltham Way; McCarran, NV 89434
Phone: 775.322.0444 - in which they leave you a recorded message about an important personal business matter...to call: Phone# 800.824.6491
Then in the last 2 days I have received calls from:
Phone# 610.456.6023
which is a Hellertown, PA landline phone line.
These last 2 calls- I picked up on the 2nd or 3rd ring...Answered "Hello" multiple times and no response to me, just open air...I waited awhile and after nothing, disconnected....1st time, thought, Ok it is a wrong number, now today- the 2nd time, I researched it and found it was a company that had called me a couple of days ago, using a different number. So, now they have been reported...
To report these callers.
go to the Federal Trade Commission's Website: www.FTC.gov and to www.DoNotCall.gov - you can report on both of these sites and they will get nailed for impropper practices.
