Got called from this number 5 times today. The first 3 were 1 min apart. I did not answer. Entered my # in their do not call list. We'll see if that works... Also got 2 calls from 630-290-7822. Comes up as a IL number. Any one else get this?
I got a call today and was told that I would get $5 if I answered a survey being conducted by the Associated Press. Suspicious that it may be a scam, I hung up.
Possibilities include:
The caller is looking for the person who had that number before your 11-year old got it.
The caller took out a loan and lied on the loan application. They gave a random phone number that happens to belong to your 11-year old.
Your 11-year old made a poor judgement. They entered a contest or something like that and put the phone number on the entry form.
Your 11-year old made a poor judgement and posted the phone number on the internet somewhere.

The caller IS LOOKING FOR someone who took out a loan and lied on the loan application. The person they are looking for gave your child's number as theirs then stopped making payments on the loan.
