Called 8 times I finally answered, he said he was from Windows, when I asked who he worked for and his bosses name he would not give me an answer. When he became frustrated he started calling me mother****er and [***]***e, so I asked for his address so I could come visit him but I guess he didn't want to get a visit from a customer.
Called many times from the afternoon until 8:42 at night. Since we work out of our home, I always answer as our business, a small law practice. Nobody ever responds, they always hang up. WIll beblocking this number!
September 9, 2015 this number called my house seven times.610-555-0181 Also the number 313-910-5940 calls my home every day.Very irritating . Wanting to know how to get rid of these callers.
Received 2 calls from this number within 10 minutes on Monday, 9-7-15. I answered on the 2d call because my caller ID said "Dir Asst -- PA" and I wondered why Directory Assistance would be calling me. I should have remembered that the no. for Dir. Asst. ends in -1212. The moment the caller said he was from Windows Tech, I knew the call was a scam. His accent sounded Indian. Still, I talked to him, trying not to give him any personal info except confirming my name and number, which is listed. He said my computer was sending out signals. Since I don't have a computer connected to the internet, I knew that wasn't possible and told him so. He seemed flummoxed, his voice trailing off. After 5 seconds of silence, I hung up. I submitted a complaint about the call to the Donotcall Registry of the FTC.
