Called two minutes ago. James Klopp on Caller ID. Man on phone sounded White, A weak-bodied accent, possibly was made fun of back in HS. Immediately told him, "Not Interested."
"Hello this is Ryan(?) with Green Energy. How are you doing today?" So along with all other complaints, Green Energy seems to be the big culprit - Did search: Discovered Green Energy Corp. (www.greenenergycorp.com). An Oregon and North Carolina (East Office) location(s).
Seems like one of those "energy" company scammers who jumped on the boat since PA and others have allowed third party energy sellers to do business in the Lehigh Valley area especially - where this call had come in - using a number of this area, which I HIGHLY doubt is this James Klopp guy. I've done research before where it states "most telemarketers phish phone numbers from the database using actual ppl's numbers to MASK themselves and their identities" and IMHO, if you're masking yourself, then first off, even if I was interested - you already killed the possibility of TRUST.
They have a "Contact" form. I'd annoy them and fill it out with false data just like they did when calling you. DNC Lists obviously made calls come more and more since that went through, I swear, it's like they have access to the numbers placed on it and call them regularly anyway.
According to White Pages - the only James Klopp (65+) years of age that would relate to this number would be a FORMER number he had when living in the Allentown, PA, area in Breiningsville, PA which uses 610. His # on the White Pages is different, a 717 Area code, which means this Green Energy is MASKING themselves using UNUSED/DROPPED Numbers, UNASSIGNED numbers from some database. Hope this helped. I didn't call the number back because I can care less about these people. But I'm sure if it goes anywhere, it won't be the Green Energy, the Telemarketer Ryan(?) and/or this James Klopp character who's seemingly retired and doesn't know his name is on some company's masked list for caller id.
Update: There's a James Klopp registered to this number, supposedly (unsure if it is current) in Reading, PA. If this is true, than the White Pages for HIM is different than my formerly posted info.
JAMES KLOPP, 42 YO, Reading, PA - his new number is 610-693-5099 - This person is NOT calling US, but shamefully, he is being USED in a telemarketing phone masking scam for caller IDs by this Green Energy.
