they call a lot about my so called free listing and ask a lot of questions.
think it's recorded and always trying to get you to say yes to questions.
finally they hang up on you.
this company calls every day, not always from this number. they want to "update the business information for a free directory in my town". not sure what their angle is, but they just want to record you saying yes. they had all of my company's information correct already and he still wanted to record me confirming. i eventually hung up when he told me not interrupt during the recording. oh and they're located in India using fake american names.
These people will not stop calling. They call from different numbers and they are always calling to update business listing. It's a scam, they just want to use you saying 'yes' (like the gentleman up top said). They use that recorded 'yes' and then say you agreed to listing services of some sort to bill you. Just say 'No'.
These calls are annoying.
They have been calling constantly the last 2 days. I played along the first time making sure I answered with "that is our address" or "that is our phone number" instead of saying the word YES. He then asked for my name and I refused to give it. Do not ever give them your name as they will then an employee's name that they say agreed to what ever it is that they will bill you for. After the 4th call I told them to remove us from their list and I know there number is spoofed, as it is coming up as a day care center called "Kids Kare Korner". Now I just pick up and hang up when I see their name on caller id.
Just alot of hang up calls at first, then a middle eastern man called from 610-948-3991, ("Kids Kare Korner"), wanted to confirm my business name and address.... (i did not catch on to him wanting me say yes). Told him that we had been getting hang-up phone calls from this number for a day in a half. Told him I had the local police department involved. Told him i had read this web-site and people were claiming this call is a scam, he was quiet, like he didn't know what to say. He told me he would take me off the list and we wouldn't be bothered again....
