I just got a call on my cell and spoke to this person. She said she was calling from the Warranty Center regarding my Hyundai Sonata. It was suspicious that she was calling from Hyundai, but didn't know that there were two people listed on the loan. It sounded like she was in a noisy call center. I asked her for the name of her company and could never get a clear answer just that they work for Hyundai's Warranty center and that they only have limited inform about my auto loan file. She said they have been sending me notices and they needed the mileage on my car or my warranty would be voided. I thought this was odd because I just bought the car 5 months ago and have over 50k miles remaining on the factory 100k warranty. When I informed her of this she quickly rushed off the phone. I'm pretty sure this is some type of scam to defraud people of their hard earned money and identity. Be Alert and Careful people.
Received a phone call from this number last week on my cell# as well; no VM was left. When I searched the phone number online, it says that it is landline located in the St. Paul area.
We received a call on our landline last week from this number. I've looked it up on several reverse look-up sites, which all say different things(some say it originated from a landline and others say, a cell phone). Many sites give NO info about it at all(not even a general location) and/or say that it isn't even a real U.S.phone number at all.
My guess? It is an overseas scammer using VoIP/Skype or something like that. I couldn't find any info on this number, annoying!
I received a call, and called the number back - Went to an automated system that did not identify what company it was, and gave two options. Press 1 to speak to the auto department, press 2 to be placed on the do not call list. When you have to have an automated system to be placed on the do not call list, perhaps you should rethink your marketing strategy.
Called my home AGAIN 20min. ago(I just left a complaint here a week ago!)!
We are on the federal DNC list, so they're getting reported! Next, I will have this number traced by the phone company and contact the authorities for harassment! Whoever is placing calls with this number: Consider this your last warning, I WILL call the cops!
I just got a call on my cell and spoke to this person. He said he was calling from the Warranty Center regarding my Hyundai Sonata. Very hard to hear him as there was a ton of background noise. Sounded like a noisy call center. I asked him for the name of his company and could never get a clear answer just that they work for Hyundai's Warranty center and he said they have been sending me notices and they need the mileage on my car. I just hung up. I was not sure if it was valid or not.
