Thanks for your reply,I'm hiring manager from Keystone Payroll Inc, we are looking for someone who have ambition to work direct from home as PT assistant to make pay checks to the list of our clients daily, You will be pay $1,400/monthly from Mon-Thurs and this is stable job and income,Are you interested?
The conversation ended with me asking the following question:
You work for a payroll company, and employ work at home employees, at 1400 a month, that means id need to pay taxes right? Unless I was 1099, which you'd still need my information to pay me right?
I got a text from this number that said "Samantha said you must to look this - _________" with a website in the blank I left. I suspect it is a harmful website, so I have omitted it.
I just had the most interesting conversation with this person. I received a text at 9:30 at night that said "Are you still available to work? Get back to me asap" I asked What work and he stated he is the hiring manager for ADP LLC and looking for someone who can help us to post adverts to 12 cities on Craigslist daily and get paid $400 / weekly. No interview, not one question about me or anything about the company. I knew it was a scam, but I wanted to play along so I did. He told me to go to yahoo messenger. Said I'd be posting warehouse, caregiver or babysitters adverts on Craigslist for 2 hrs a week and they will FED EX my check or direct deposit in my Pay Pal account. So he tells me to open my Craigslist account to post an advert. Told me to pick any city in GA (currently I reside in NC) and post a General Labor job with the title of warehouse worker needed then I needed to click no replies to my email and hide my email. I asked where is the warehouse, why am I posting this and not you? I told him it was a scam and he said they are looking for warehouse people. I asked again where is the warehouse? Definitely a scam, but I am not sure of the angle.

The scam is quite simple. YOU are posting the fake ads - not the real scammer. When you-know-what hits the fan, who do you think the police will want to talk to? As you asked, there is no reason for someone else to post job listings. That is unless the jobs are all fake, and foreign criminals are looking to scam people. Take a few minutes to do some reading on 800 notes & you will see people posting comments all the time about being called or emailed about a job offer. All fake.
