This number keeps calling me (at direction of Comcast) demanding I return equipment I never had. I have told them this many times and no longer answer this number.
This number always calls me while I'm at work and cannot pick up the phone. I suspected after reading Jenna's comment that it may be Comcast because I never returned my cable modem, of which Comcast never told me I had to do (unless it was in their massive fine print agreement I reluctantly just signed.) Anyway, I called Comcast and tried to straighten this out and after being shuffled from tech-to-tech and being hung up on, I finally talked with a lady that said she was going to get this worked out and those people wouldn't call me. This is the second time that's happened. I talked with another lady several weeks ago that told me the same thing. This is just a rotten deal. You sell me an HD service, and again in fine print you only provide basic non-HD cable. This stupid cable box sat in my closet while I paid for basic cable a couple years. I never watched a minute of it. The only reason I kept this stupid cable package was because it kept my internet cost down. Then I moved and tossed out the cable box not knowing I should return it. When someone gives me something it's mine, don't ask for it back. My bill never had a cable box rent fee. It was just my cable service. Whatever, the moment another service comes into my neighborhood I'm cutting ties with Comcast. I'm waiting for you Google Fiber.
This is a recovery call from a Comcast partner about returning my equipment to them. However they were helpful and told me two locations where I can take my unused converters to them and they are shipped for free. So as unwanted type calls go not too bad...
