Called my landline. I called back to a switchboard software/website thing - said to press 0 to get through. I did, and it just rang. The service provides businesses with numbers in area codes far away from their physical location. Great idea for marketing - fantastic setup for scams, and collectors, and scum in general.

Medical alert prerecorded message that I think is to validate your phone # is active. This person has my number set to dial me every 2 to 5 days. If I ever find the person responsible for making these calls, I want some payback. Fines, harrassment etc. Criminal scum like this really irritate me.
