I got the following email from an ad that I put on Craig's List for automotive parts, not a complete car. I believe it to be a scam. When I called the number I got just a machine.
"I am interested in this vehicle, pls do get back to me with your firm price if its still available.
I just have these few questions left:
1. what is the general condition of this vehicle?
2. How is the title? it is clean or not?
3. previous owners?
Can you make yourself available for the company when they
will come for the pick-up?

I received the exact same email yesterday. I left "Caroline" a message and received another email stating they will buy the car, sight unseen and they will send me a US money order for more than my asking price, and I should cash it the same day and send the excess to their "shipper."
I received this similar email off of craigslist. Different name than above posting though. I questioned the word phrasing and googeled the phone number. I also wondered why someone was interested in a very low price car from so far away. Also, when I sell something and put in the add to call me and they email asking you to call them, I'm leary.
