Got the call and did not answer. No message left. Got curious and called the number back. There was a recorded message saying the number had been hacked and a woman apologized if we had received a call from this number. They had contacted the phone company about it. Put it on my blocked number list.
Scammer called my grandma I intercepted call told me to get my computer I have been hacked all my money is gone told me to press certain buttons on my computer did not do anything he told me to do he told me to jump off the bridge and into the river I said great let's do it together and he told me to go to hell and hung up thanks James Barnett scammer from overseas u are insane don't ever call again
"Barnett James A" on the caller ID as well. Thanks for posting. I just let my fax machine answer the phone if I don't recognize the #.
At least it screams in their ear and ties up their robo dialer for a minute. Repeated calls.
I am ready to disconnect this line, as I get at least 2 calls per day that are scams. I have blocked the numbers, and they get new numbers. If you answer the phone, they sell your number to someone else. Nothing I have tried works, except not answering the call, period. So what is the point in having the line? I will just use my cell from now on.
About 3:30-3:48 we got called 4 times by someone called James Barnet. The4 Man Identified Him self Andy? Don't do anything to our computer because He needed to get in to it to fix it, we said no hung up, repeated calls, we say no and hang up 4 x'ss he called. Said He was from Windows Technical Department.
Called 11/1/16, 11/7/16 and 11/10/16 with "Barnett James A" and 11/9/16 where he suppressed the name from the caller ID. Got himself blocked, so, I guess he's thrilled with himself.
