I got the same call stating they are a Legal Processing Company last month. Saying i took a 400 dollar pay day loan but they would settle for 600. I reporting this cause to day is 4/13/2015 an i just got a text from my twin sister stating they just called her and claim they put a lean on my bank account and wage garnishment. But the interesting thing is i never received any paper work on this payday loan. the number is 612-354-4087 an my file#xxx754.
Only a judge can issue an order for garnishment and that's only as part of a legal case. No debt collector can put a lien on your bank account. Total scam. If someone is claiming a debt against you, demand a debt validation letter be sent you by US mail. E-mail no good. Otherwise simply block their calls and ignore them.

I say bring it if you're company is so "legit." You will be destroyed if you knock at my door and disturb my family or if come to my place of work.
I received the same call with a Recording Stated: "This is the division of pre-trial processing. We have received an order of two allegations to be filed against you immediately with the county clerk's office. This department will be actively pursuing you at your place of employment and your residence. You do have the legal right to resolve this case with the plaintiff outside of court. Please understand that once you are located you do forfeit that right. You can contact our legal department at (612) 354-4087. Refer to your case number 192892." I called the number and asked what was this all about, they told me that I owed for a payday loan from 2009, I advised them I have not taken a payday loan. I told them I believe the so call company they are representing "Highlands Corporation" is fraud, she then asked me for my last for of my social....Which I told her I do not know her or who she was so I was not going to give information to her. I advised her that if they are taking me to court, you have to notify me so I can be present and I will gladly give a judge my bank statements for the year of 2009 showing I never took a pay day loan, but to her or anyone else, never.
