I got a call from the above number. The rep asked for debbie (not my name) & said her name was Alyssa. I asked for her company name. She said Twin City Reader and then started asking me about the magazine subscription I had. I asked for her supervisor. I was put on hold then disconnected. I called back and spoke to Elizabeth. I asked for the supervisor. I lost the call again & called back. Finally I got Mario on the line, who said he was the supervisor. I asked him where he got my number. He said they had my number because I was their customer. I asked again and he said they got their list from a utility company. I asked which one. He said he didn't know. I asked him how if he got my number from a utility company, how was I his customer. He couldn't explain this. I let him know that his company was not scrubbing their leads for DNC numbers and that it was illegal. He promised to put my number on the DNC list. My number has been on the DNC list for years and recently registered again because of all the recent annoying calls from various numbers.
I have never done business with this company.
I just got a call from them but didn't answer the phone. Hate these kinds of calls. I am on the DNC list also. The person who called me had the bname Alan Farnham which appeared on my list. :(
i just got this call too, i didn't answer, i'm also on a do not call list, What the hell!! who can we report this typ of herassment? I worry about ident, theft. And not 1 hour later i got a call from a 303 area code.
