As far as a debt collector is concerned, your lying. They don't understand stop calling unless its done by cease & desist via certified return receipt US mail. Without a id/name I can't even run and see if its a legit company or extortion scammer.
Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.If its a cell phone, there are free call blocking apps out there including trac & straight talk.

*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Has called 30 times over the last year asking for someone I've never heard of. I've told them to stop calling ten of those times, that that person is not at this number, AND THEY KEEP CALLING.
