Someone called from this number and then just sat there while I said "hello?" once I quit and just sat there too they hung up. Annoying. I could hear noise in the background.

Called my cell earlier. I don't recognize the number and won't answer because of scammy telemarketers. Seeing other posts it would seem this is just another scammer.
Just got a call - it was a recording saying I've won a travel package. The recording makes it sound like a person: "Can you hear me ok?" when you answer "yes" it recognizes that response and continues with the recording. I hung up after the second prompt...
