Daily jackpot, answer survey questions for entry into $5,000. went through survey answered no to everything, then said I will receive $100 dollar gift card. they then transferred me and no one answered. unknown number called me back and wanted 4.95 fee for shipping and handling. I told them if they can afford to give me a $100 dollar gift card they can afford to pay for shipping and handling. they then said it was for an activation fee. I said they can pay for that also. they then hung up on me. I assume they just wanted my banking information.
Thank's John. THAT is my favorite part about the scam. They can GIVE you $100., but they can't afford to send it to you? Then it's not free, is it? Of course it's a scam. You cannot win a contest you never entered. You cannot win a lottery you never bought a ticket on, and winning a free prize is not a free prize if you have to pay to get it. It's an advance fee scam.
