Yes, I too, received (only a couple) of cell phone calls from this number, before blocking it too, as my cell phone company allows me to do this. However, my landline company does not (it never works). I did call this number (from my blocked landline), and an automated msg. said "Sorry, unable to complete the call, as dialed." Obviously, another telemarketer, another scam, another spoof, and/or it is bouncing off of this phone number, but is actually originating from another.
As we obviously have no enforceable rights in this country not to be consistently harrassed by these illegal calls (Do Not Call List is a joke), we must constantly block phone calls (if you're lucky enough to be able to do so, with your phone company).
Got a call from this #, was an automated system at first, then transferred to a "representative" who told me they were calling on behalf of my credit card lenders to lower my interest rates. She was very rude, refused to give her name, the name of the company, or to tell me which lenders had authorized the communications. My belief is that this is a SCAM, that they are hunting for info, to get people personal financial info & possibly their credit card info as well. After refusing to answer several questions she finally said if you don't want our help then fine, keep paying out the [***] & hung up. When I tried to call the # back it says cannot be complete as dialed & to check the # again!!! DO NOT give any info to these people!!!
i get this call all the time. i even press #1 to try to speak to someone, as if i want to lower my credit card rate and it just disconnects. so annoying!!!
