Called my non-published and DO NOT CALL list number.
The male voice asked if I was [my name] and I replied, "Who is this?" twice, not realizing he had hung up. When I called the number back, I kept getting that "all circuits are usy now."
This happened on 23 April 2013 in the evening---maybe 730pm.
Call from 612-808-8113 just came in on a business line @ 9:27AM. Caller ID said Annual Audit. When I picked up to answer it was just very loud beeping. Terrible.
(612) 808-8113 called to ask me if I wanted to continue to get a (free) magazine subscription for a magazine in the IT field that I don't actually get, nor did I want to. They had my name and address, but I don't know where they got it. If they call, just tell them you're not interested in anything that they provide (unless, for some reason, you actually are).
Another scam outfit, allegedly "Annual Audit" on Caller Id, calling under the guise of checking on magazine subscriptions or soliciting for new ones at discounted rates. Of course, the worse thing you could do is to give them any credit card number, and you will be shortly the victim of numerous fraudulent charges totaling thousands of dollars. (612) 808-8113 is likely a phony computer-generated number or phony tie-line number, tied into a call center in India or Florida. BEWARE!
