Has called daily, and now are calling twice-daily. I assume this is a call to verify that I received their unrequested advertising, either mailed or left at the end of my driveway. Bottom dwellers!
It was a recorded woman's voice. All it said was, "If you'd like to opt out of the Verifast system (I'm pretty sure it said Verifast, maybe Equafast - but not Equafax), call 888-blah-blah-blah." It said the 888 number slowly and deliberately, and just once, but of course, no one is ready for it.
Even if you call the number, you probably get hooked into some long distance foreign call scam and billed at $20 a minute. Who are these people? There is little online about this so far.
Several calls over the last few days from this number. I'm doing my "standard" answer/hang-up as fast as possible so they don't even get to voicemail. Sounds like some firm phishing for valid numbers to sell to other spammer/scammers.

2 calls from this number today-caller ID says it is "ST DL VRY CHK" I am 99% sure it's a scam/phishing attempt of some sort. I called the number and was told to enter my number if I wanted to be removed from their call list. I realized tjat was a mistake. Now they know it's a working number. The ID appears to be fake.
