Feb 21st -Got the same call from Officer Knight.. What bull [***]. Do they think we are all stupid. Just hang up on these idiots. It's a boiler room at work somewhere in the world. I recorded the entire conversation and will report to RCMP.
Received voice message from this number claiming to be Canada Revenue Agency rep:
"Canada revenue agency. this is to verify you that you are under subject of investigation because of the suspicious and unethical activities highlighted in the audit report of your taxes. You need to call me back on (phone #). I repeat, 613 209 0968. Don’t try to disregard the message or else, it will be taken as an offence to your tax. Again, this is Officer JW from Revenue Canada.
Same number, same message. Obviously ignore. I wonder whether the police would investigate this as phone fraud? Maybe they are too busy with senators in Ottawa?
