I got the same exact message! ^ Vic These people from a company have been harassing me, and I faxed them to tell them to leave me alone, so they do that.
I let my answering machine get the call. The message was garbled with an Indian accent. However the phone number was clearly repeated twice. Impersonating an officer, in this country that is an illegal offense. Why are these scammers not arrested and charged for this illegal activity?
Same massage as above but left by a woman. Called herself officer something. Called the number got a male. Lots of talking in the background. Think my tone scared him because he hung up instead of connecting me to someone. My impression was the woman was filipina.
I received the threatening message and called back. He originally said he was officer James Morrison. East Indian accent. Said it was for tax fraud and he wanted my attorney's name. Told him a few choice words and he said the police would be in my driveway to arrest me. Still waiting.........ha
