This number called my house on January 13, 2016 and left a message, but it's kinda cut off. It's an automated message, but it says an arrest warrant has been issued and to get more information about this case file please call 613-209-0974.
Then I received another call on January 29, 2016, it was also an automated message, but it says a Federal agency has issued an arrest warrant and to get more information about this case file please call 613-689-3542.
Scary! Some people might actually fall for this and call them back!! Bad bad scam!
Called me (416 number, Toronto) and did not talk to me. My wife called back from a 613 phone and asked them what they want. They said they are Canada Revenue (very Indian accent) and asked her name, after she spelled it they asked about the phone number they called, and asked "What is your real name?". 100% scam. And no, none of us have an arrest warrant... :)
I just got home to see a message was left on my phone. Number 613-209-0974 left an automated message saying they have been trying to contact me on behalf of Revenue Service and a warrant is out for my arrest. This is the first time they have called so far and they didn't specify who they were looking for. I guess this will be a number to be added to my block list for the new year.
