Pretends to be CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada). Accuses me of not updating my IMM 1000 form and tells me to pay 25000$ or I will be arrested within the next two hours if I don't conform with his instructions. Very aggressive and threatening; not wanting to listen,with Indian accent.
Well known extortion scam. Foreign criminals, faking their caller ID, are calling Americans & Canadian immigrants pretending to be immigration officials. It's all about the money, scare tactics, and old fashioned extortion.
First they said where from cra and i asked them a few questions they couldn't answer, I asked his name he said he was" Peter Parker " with an India accent. Then the person was very rude. Now I am getting machine dial up from a women. I know Cra sends a letter so don't be fooled by them.
