I live in Montreal; received numerous calls from this number - answered it tonight. The male caller wanted someone to take part in a video game testing group - a focus group meeting to be held on May 19th, in St. Laurent, QC. I don't have the time, passed my cell phone to my son, who was visiting.
My son spoke with the man. He didn't ask for any personal info, with the exception of his name and his permission to forward his name to the company doing the video game testing. He questioned my son's gaming habits, what systems he uses and has used etc.
A physical meeting is to be held on May 19th. Will update with information after this occurs.
(Just a note - my son is in his twenties; not exactly victim material either.)
Received several calls from this caller. Called the number back and it says it's a research company that calls to conduct surveys. They give a different number to call to speak with a live person. I called the number but it's not in service. Looks very suspicious to me.
I have gotten calls from this number, and the last tine they left a message that said; "read it and weep!"
I wonder who they are, and what games they are playing. They will always get my machine or my woice mail!!!
