Very likely more of the same scam and fraud activity, posing as sales contact for so-called duct cleaning. They spoof a local number while actually calling from outside Canada (the local number fools people into answering). So far as I am aware, they are trying to steal your Identity by getting name, address, phone and possible credit card info. I have the easiest solution: NEVER ANSWER AN UNKNOWN NUMBER! Let it go to voicemail. If the caller has any legitimacy at all, they will gladly leave a message. If you don't use voicemail, then again - DON'T answer a number that you don't know. Simple, effective and if everyone did this- instead of thinking of getting some deal for little or no money - greed would not be the trigger for phone crime.
yes it was RON ( middle eastern accent ) with all the jabbering in the background from DUCT CLEANERS , told him my DUCKS were all at the DRYCLEANERS so no need to keep calling me. Only reason I picked it up was I was in the only room in the house that does not have call display on the phone and I was expecting a family member to call about the same time and they did as I was on the phone with Ron
