I think that it may be a scam - someone pretending to be from Bell Canada - calling to confirm that an account has been created and they wish to set up a date and time for internet installation. I did not answer the call, but the number left a voice message twice, directing me to call 1-866-257-7002, which looks like it may be set up as a fake Bell customer service line. The agent on the line kept asking me for more information - name, address, etc., and I chose not to answer. I have never been a Bell Customer so I told her that my number was given as the wrong contact number. She told me that she couldn't search the system based on the contact number given (when I suggested that she do so to determine whose account it was) and I find this a little incredible.
Bell Customer Service calling to confirm appointment scheduled for satellite tv installation. Not a scam. I just registered for Bell the other day, and this is the only time I've heard from this number.
