This phone number has called my house at least 10 times in the last month to try and sell me duct cleaning services. I have asked them repeatedly to take my phone number off their list and they keep calling

This number has called me everyday all week. It is for duct cleaning.
I told them on Monday politely that we were not interested... no service needed. On Tuesday I repeated my story. Today I told caller who called himself John that I had already told him that I do not want their service... and midway through my sentence he disconnected... end the call. How rude!! When I called the number back .. I could not connect.
It rings through to our phone like a long distance call but when I put the 1 in front of the number it said it was not a long distance call.......
Is there anyway I can make this stop? I am going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!
Telemarketers - Call Centers, use a computer to dial phone numbers from a database. When the dialed call is answered, it is rooted to the attendants(persons) working the phones in the Call Center. If all the attendants in the call center are on the phone then obviously the call is not picked up. That is why you get no one on the line at the other end of the line.
