Just got a call - it was a recording saying "thanks for participating in the internet survey.. you are eligible to claim one of three prizes.. press 1 to claim your prize now..." that was enough to get me to hang up. Jan 3 @8:50
these people wont identify themselves and say you won a trip you registered for through email, but wont say which email or website or anything. they have you address information and ask for credit card information to verify, they even hung up on me cause i asked for a supervisor and said i know the laws about being removed from call lists. still dont know who they are, any ideas?
Got a call @ 7:36pm this evening on my non-registered home phone. I don't answer unfamiliar numbers no more. The didn't leave a message. But from above info, good thing that I didn't answer. It goes directly to my junk number blocker.

Just got a call from this number, said that I had registered online and was eligable to recieve 2500 dollars/points towards a trip. Hung up because any contest that I have been lucky enough to win didn't use a robo caller to notify me!! gotten calls like this in the past, they then want you to give them a credit card and pay a fee to register. Did a quick check on the internet about this phone number and found that this was exactly the pitch if you stay on the line. filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call List (CRTC). suggest that others do the same, more complaints the faster they will be investigated. also suspect that they may be tied to another number (202-316-8196) that claims to be a survey and you can win a trip, I just happened to stay on long enough to hear an option to have my number removed I selected that option and now I'm getting a new form of call
