Today at 2:39 PM, July 13, 2016 I received a recorded message from 613-505-9170. A stern female voice said she was calling from the Tax Dept and that there was a criminal investigation on me for Tax Fraud and Tax Evasion. She assured me I should call their number and they could help me. Right! Wouldn't the Tax Department call me first, instead of calling some anonymous caller who took the time to make a recording - to get as many people as possible to fall for this? I have had recent legitimate communication for Revenue Canada, so this call is definitely not from them!
Received this call today, July 14th, 2016. It's the CRA scam again, only this time instead of it being a completely implausible idiot with an East Indian accent, it's a completely implausible computer voice.
