A male voice claiming to be from the CRA saying a criminal case will be started against me for tax evasion and to call back at 613-604-9949 immediately

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

I got this call yesterday and they called again today leaving message that the CRA got me for tax fraud but without giving any names on ho they want to talk to in my household .
strange calls.

I also received this call, he gave his first name onle and
a badge number...I have been involved with many audits through my work

they send a registered letter..and then come in and copy all your files
electronically

I am not returning the call

revenue canada will not call you on the phone...
they will send a registered  letter to you with information to call
them
