Left a message to call Officer Jim Arthur of the Criminal Investigation Division re: warrant for my arrest at 613-665-2874! The number on caller ID is a legitimate Revenue Canada number (1-800-959-8281). Message was so garbled that I had difficulty understanding why there was supposedly a warrant but searching "Officer Jim Arthur" quickly turned up many, many others that they have tried to scam this year with that spiel. I did try the number but it is always busy. Definitely a scam though!
Message left on my answering machine from "Damon Marshall from the Criminal Investigation Division". He claims there is a warrant out for the arrest of "MR. Theresa _______" Funny. My husband and I don't have the same last name, and the caller used my last name to refer to my husband. He claims that before the arrest warrant is sent to my local police department, they would like to speak to us. He leaves the number 613-65-2874.
